The key is the foundation.
Choose a compatible host
Match the release to your computer’s operating system, RAM, and CPU. USB capacity alone does not establish compatibility. Verified requirements will be published with each sale-ready release.
Connect the key and start its software
The intended package includes the SoLo Key Connect Bridge on the key. The bridge runs on the computer—not inside the phone app.
Pair LonerAI
The computer displays private pairing details for the phone. Treat the QR code as a credential. Do not post it or include it in a support screenshot.
Keep the host available
For remote use, leave the key connected and the computer awake and online. The intended route is phone → SoLo relay → key computer, with encrypted messages forwarded between paired endpoints.
Local does not mean
always reachable.
Local inference can operate without an external AI provider. Reaching a computer from another network still requires working internet connectivity and a reachable relay.
If the computer sleeps, the key is removed, or the relay is unavailable, the phone cannot use that key remotely. Relay routing is not a backup of your key.
